The residents of Krishna nagar are facing heavy traffic jam on Mandir marg, F Block. Entering from Road no 57, there is a bottle neck at F Block. As a result, a jam can occur at any time of the day. Mr. Prem Raj Mehra, President, Krishna Nagar Welfare Society, has forwarded many letters in this regard at various Bhagidari meetings. But so far the TI & ACP Traffic have just given the assurances that it will be regulated soon.
The red light at Mandir marg & Road number 57 crossing is being controlled in a very poor way. The traffic while entering Road number 57, covers both the sides of the divider and those entering Mandir marg, face heavy difficulty. Hope TI & ACP Traffic will look into the serious problems being faced by the residents of the area.

My solution is very simple. traffic in krishan nagar and gandhi nagar including jhee khuranja east delhi new delhi 110092 is of worst kind.
ReplyDeleteSTOP BRIBING TRAFFIC AND POLICE AND OTHERS IN MCD and see the improvement.
OR
GIVE ME FIVE VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE PANJ PYAARA AND THEN LEAVE EVERY THING TO ME.
FINAL SOLUTION......COMPEL POLICE,DELHI GOVT TO PUT TRAFFIC MONITORING CAMERA AT EVERY RED LIGHT CROSSING,CREATE SPECIAL TEAMS TO CARRY OUT BLOOD TEST FOR DRUNKEN STAFF IN POLICE STATIONS OR TRAFFIC STAFF AND OF COURSE DRIVERS.
If u can do it every thing will fall in its proper slot.
RAISE THIS ISSUE IN EACH BHAGIDARI MEETING AND LET US INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER...THE PROBLEM SHALL VANISH IN LESS THAN TWO MONTHS.
WILL U DO IT.
Dear Ghai Sahib,

Sir, who is running shops in Krishna Nagar. It is mostly local people. It is in their interest to donate traffic monitoring cameras at least to monitor major crossing.
ReplyDeleteRIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT is a good weapon to ask number of traffic personnel and officers, their names, mobile and E MAIL ADDRESSES.
Ask how many FIR OR REPORTS WERE LODGED IN 2009 AND HOW MANY WERE CRACKED, STATUS OF PENDING CASES IN COURTS.
Krishan Nagar was the most posh and powerful colonies even in 1970s and 1980s.
MY office as XEN DESU was in krishan nagar and i was incharge of distribution for total transyamuna. The mind set can only be changed by asking questions and raising issues in bhagidari and press or electronic media.
We could create groups to follow problems faced by us.
Sir,
ReplyDeleteOne of the major factors that contfibute leadingly to these jams is that the area available for use by pedestrians is encroached by shops and major part of the road( by lanes) is used to park the vehicles of customers who are coming to these shops a special mention of eateries on the main road of F block...Need some urgent steps to be taken to curb this menace!!!
