For the last many years we are raising our voice on Environmental issues. Many published RTIs, Meets, Chats, Discussions, many Lungs check-up camps along with CIPLA, but the situation is not at all improving. The sequence of various uploads on this page may vary as contents are being uploaded as & when found, but this page will give you a clear picture of our activities as an Environment Activist.

AIR PURIFIER INSTALLED:
In the war against Pollution and to give clean air to the residents, East Delhi RWAs Joint Front, has installed an Open Air Pollution control equipment that sucks the dirty air from a radius of 60 Ft, Filters the pollutants such as PM10 & PM 2.5, and disperses the clean air, as a relief to the lungs of the people.




RWAs meet on Air Pollution in Delhi: 
We also organized a meet of the RWAs of East Delhi with Ms. Anumita Roy Chowdhury as the Key Note Speaker. The meet was sponsored by Kempinski Ambience Hotel.

Bhure Lal Committee:
We had meetings with the Bhure Lal Committee also regarding the status of Pollution & Sealing in Delhi.





Efforts to combat pollution:
We also demanded special funds from the Central Government for Delhi to control the pollution.





Absolutely Apolitical: 
We are absolutely APOLITICAL and we are ready to have the support of anyone who is truly concerned with our cause. It may be any Society, any NGO, any leader without even considering that to which political party he/ she belongs.







The outcome is not visible so far as even though Delhi has been tagged as the Most Polluted Capital, it is at the 11th Position in India while the neighboring cities of Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram have the Top rankings. Anyhow, honored by Dainik Jagran on the 26th January 2019 for our efforts in raising the Voice against Pollution in Delhi.

April 2020 - #covid19 #coronavirus:
Entire India is now facing the Lockdown as the situation has worsened worldwide due to #covid19 #coronavirus. Lakhs have been infected so far & thousands killed. The impact of this Lockdown is the significant reduction in the Pollution levels with AQI at the Green stages now.
