Power cables burnt like hot coal !
RWABhagidari News : Severe power outages were faced by the residents of F Block in Krishna nagar after the heaviest rains lashed the city. Moisture seeped, somewhere, into the underground power cables or ones connecting the transformer opposite the BSES office. This resulted into the bursting of the Transformer at around 4 am & the live wires connecting various poles burnt like hot coal. There was panic all around & fire brigade was called by the residents. Later the transformer was replaced by BSES but the replacing of burnt wires took much longer. Power was restored in the area by around 8 pm after the outages of upto 20 hours.

As the Delhi traffic police came on Facebook, we have added certain requests to DTP as below :

On 26th May, 2010 : Rwa Bhagidari Delhi Traffic Police: Please depute a permanent traffic police officer to control the traffic on the very busy crossing at Road number 57 intersection at F block, Krishna nagar, Mandir marg, Delhi - 51. Plz check the traffic lights also which are mostly switched off, even in the absence of Traffic police.
On 26th May, 2010 again : Rwa Bhagidari : Last year in summer holidays, i went to GHPS Hargobind enclave to deposit fees of my kids. It's a very very wide road & always dozens of car's are parked outside the school. But on that fateful day no car was parked outside the school except mine & that too just for few minutes. My car was at the extreme end of the very very wide road, which is always empty. But to my surprise, on that day my car was towed away and i had to spend 300 for Challan plus 100 for searching the location to collect it. Please note, there is not even any board saying NO PARKING ZONE.

Dirty Drinking water - Krishna nagar
I am one of the resident of Krishna Nagar which comes under the Shahdara south zone area. Our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past one week which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from some dead bodies. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue and already made some persons hospitalised.
We hope that our government will take some strict action in this matter so that we can proudly say that WE ARE DELHITIES

Dirty drinking water in Krishna nagar
The news of the Dirty Drinking water was Aired live on Delhi Aaj Tak TV Channel, CCN cable news channel. The news was covered by Dainik Jagran - City plus as well other news papers. Dr. Harshvardhan personally visited us to view the water & the things were better for the last few days. But today again we have heard that again the dirty water has started coming out of DJB taps.

A hope atleast : Delhi to have task force to check water logging.
We will be thankful to Delhi Government for forming any such task force, which can check the water logging in various parts of Delhi. The first task can be the Krishna nagar, the first DLF Colony, which is very much prone to water logging. Even on the normal rain we get knee deep water on roads & in case of heavy down pour, we can see the Floating beds, Sofa sets and other house hold items in various houses, which has become a routine for the last over 25 years.
While the other localities of Delhi, may think of Pakoras on viewing the clouds in the sky, the residents of Krishna nagar, start fearing the nightmare of water logging instead. Atleast a hope for the residents of Delhi that any such task force is being formed in Delhi, which will check the water logging.

Dirty Drinking water straight from Dhobi Ghat ?
Areas in the first DLF colony, Krishna nagar, are facing the acute problem of Dirty & Smelly drinking water. For the last few months, the colour of water changes every day, from black to yellow to earthen & vice versa with bacteria & unknown particles as well with soapy effects as it has come not from the pipes of DJB but from any Dhobi Ghat. We can not use it for drinking or washing clothes & utencils, or for a bath and therefore, none would like to take it even free of cost. But the agony is that we are purchasing it from DJB by paying monthly bills.
The area MLA, Dr. Harshvardhan visited us and saw the condition of water a few days ago, while the DELHI AAJ TAK was airing a live show on Dirty water. He made a dozen calls to various DJB officials . We are thankful for his efforts but so far the quality of water remains same, most of the time.
We are thankful to Delhi Government for making dozens of changes in the East Delhi Map. The standard of living has definitely improved a lot. But if Govt could give more instructions to the concerned officials for keeping an eye on the basic civic problems, we will be thankful. We have great hopes from our MP Mr Sandeep Dikshit.

A view of the traffic jam at Mandir marg, Krishna nagar, Delhi - 110051, at 8.30 PM. You can find the Ambulances struck in between the traffic jam almost many times a day. The road needs a proper management by the Traffic police.

Are we waiting for a mishap to happen ?
Road number 57 intersection at Mandir marg, Krishna nagar : Deep pits were digged for over bridge on both the sides of the road. For the last few months, these are lying open, uncovered. Any mishap, accident or tragedy can happen here, any time in day or night.

Road number 57 intersection at Mandir marg, Krishna nagar : Any one from any direction, with or without helmets, without caring the traffic lights, can cross the road. Bikers from inner lane intersect the flow of traffic. You can find one sided traffic on both the sides of the divider. Barriers removed for 26th Jan Republic day parade are not yet back.

Krishna Nagar Chain snatching
On 30th March, around 12.30 pm, Mrs. Khurana and her husband were going to the Gurudwara in F Block, Krishna nagar. They were very happy as their daughter had scored 1st position in class 6th. All of a sudden two persons from no where appeared on a bike. In a split of a second they snatched her 5 Tola chain along with the Dupatta from her neck. Before Mrs. Khurana & her husband could understand that what has happened, the bikers were no where in sight. Later they reported the matter to Police.
Krishna Nagar Chaos continues ........
