Jan Lok Pal Bill Vs. Lok Pal Bill : Mail from Mr Rajiv Kakria

Today (20-8-2011) the Standing Committee published the Ad. inviting Objections / Suggestions ........ and Our Worst Fears are CONFIRMED. You may remember the draft resolution from RWAs I had mailed to you stating how the Govt. Lokpal will impact the working of RWAs and NGOs. Sample just two of the following parts of the proposed Bill .......

 

Para (iii) the category of public functionaries against whom alligation of corruption are to be inquired into, namely, Prime Minister, after he has demitted office; Minister of the Union; Member of Parliament; any group A officer or equivalent; a Chairperson or member or offcer equivalent, Group A in any body, Board, corporation, authority, company, society, trust, autonomous body established by an act of Parliament or wholley or partly financed or controlled by the Central Governmnet; any Director, manager, secretary or other officer of a society or association of persons or trustly wholley or partly financed or aided by the Government or in reciept of donations from the public and whose annual income exceeds such amount as the Central Government may be notification specified but the organisations created for religious purposes and receiving public donations would be outside the purview of the Lokpal.

 

Para (xiv) to provide for prosecution of persons who make false or frivolous or vexatious complaints.

 

This is a sure remedy to turn Lok Tantra into Ghotala Tantra ........ see the clever way they have included RWAs / NGOs and how they have given the Big Fish an escape hatch thru organisations created for religious purposes ..... we all know about temple trusts and their accounting and audit procedures ....... we hear of a certian Kerala temple these days ...... or is it they are scared of the Non Hindu Religious bodies.

 

I am in a rush now, but soon I shall Google ...... Kalmadi Religious Trust ..... Raja Devasthanam Trust ......

 

After this Lokpal, they will soon be out and sue Times Now and TV Today respectively and get Arnab Goswami n Rahul Kanwal jailed for two years.

 

As for me ..... I am member of Greater Kailash Religious Association (GKRA) ....... Catch me if you can Sibal / Chidambaram ...... you yourself have kept Religious organisations out.

 

Infact I will also Google Sibal Dham Trust and Chidipuram Religious Trust.
