May I ask the reason from Delhi Traffic Police ?
We have made dozens of complaints
to DTP to look into the Traffic Jam position in Krishna
nagar, Lal quarter, Jheel, areas. Many a time we got visits from ACP or TI in
the earlier months to look into our problems. Many a times we uploaded vids of
real traffic jams on the DTP site to exhibit the gravity of situation. Many a
times we raised the issue at the Bhagidari meets at the DC office monthly
meetings. But no action is ever taken & we were told that the staff crunch
is the reason. We were told that almost 50% of the staff has to go to the VIP
duty everyday. We asked for tow away vehicles to ease the traffic jams in the
area but DTP could not offer us even a single round even in months as they said
they have to maintain the Vikas Marg.
But strange the same DTP has
enough staff to tow away the vehicles from the areas where there is no traffic
jam, where the parked vehicle is not hurting anyone. Sometime ago I went to
deposit the school fee of my kid at GHPS hargobind enclave & on coming back
found my car towed away. Today I parked my car for few minutes to take away
some papers from typist near the DC office & again my car was towed away. These
are the areas where there is no rush, no traffic jam and nothing of that sort.
Strange the areas mentioned above
don’t have the NO PARKING Sign boards & when I asked the DTP personal, his
answer was that there is not even the PARKING Board.

IndiBloggers meet, that changed smelly to smiley !
Though
I get regular messages from indiblogger, I never took much interest as first of
all I don’t like to go alone n secondly, can’t really adjust in the ho halla that’s
expected in such kind of meets.
REASON ?
I am a different type of person. A Blogger but with a social cause. Wanna serve the society. Wanna chat n discuss about our meets with DERC so that the power tariff could come down inDelhi .
Wanna chat n discuss about the DJB, about dirty water being supplied, about waterloging in the city, potholes, sanitation, power outages, RWAs, FDI, inflation,
politicians etc. etc. & ofcourse about our RTIs on various issues and you can find me on various TV channels on various social issues.
REASON ?
I am a different type of person. A Blogger but with a social cause. Wanna serve the society. Wanna chat n discuss about our meets with DERC so that the power tariff could come down in
Donno
how, i decided to visit the Ambipur meet, filled the participation forms n reached the spot alongwith Sonia - my wife who is also a very active Blogger with our SikhsIndia Blog.
The meet started with Nihal and OMG what was that ? All the bloggers were just laughing, banging their heads….OMG.....it looked like a MAD MAD MAD House or a mad mad mad world.
The meet started with Nihal and OMG what was that ? All the bloggers were just laughing, banging their heads….OMG.....it looked like a MAD MAD MAD House or a mad mad mad world.
But
very soon I realized that it was not a mad house instead a fun filled event
where youngsters had ample opportunities to express. It was not just a
promotional event of P&G for Ambi Pur, instead it offered us to meet a wide
variety of bloggers from the city as well NCR region with different causes,
interests, technicalities & so on. They were from different age groups,
from the mere 13 years old to the grown ups & matures, all there, under the single roof, laughing, shouting, enjoying the fun filled event.
All the Bloggers
actively participated in various activities & expressed themselves in the best possible manner. And lastly the skits, though promotional in nature, again offered ample
opportunities to the audience. They were divided in 8 teams & given few
minutes to not only to make a promotional skit but also to perform it on the
stage. Great fun indeed ! All the teams performed well, with their own themes, their own stories, generated there itself, in few minutes with all the born n natural actors. Good job ! Great efforts ! I just sprayed AMBI PUR to convert the smelly ones into smiley ones.
And finally, i had to change my opinion, atleast about the indiblogger meets. Instead of mere Ho Halla, it was a great
experience, a great opportunity to meet all lot of friends from various cultures, different fields, different age groups but with one thing in common. Yeah, we all were INDIBLOGGERS.
Definitely three cheers for the
entire indiblogger team, that was quite friendly and thanks from my wife to all there as she really enjoyed a lot. Thanks to Ambipur as it changed the smelly to smiley in a short span.
And one thing is sure that now onwards i would like to attend all the indiblogger meets in Delhi & around (subject to my time restraints), and in case i could not reach the spot due to my other social activities, my wife will definitely be there, in the indiblogger meets as a co blogger. In that case, please don't forget to meet me at the link below : http://www.youtube.com/user/RWABhagidari/videos
RWAs views on the announcement made by CM :
I would like to clarify regarding the doubts created by some RWAs regarding the authenticity of one lakh to be given to RWAs. In the Bhagidari meet at Talkatora Stadium on 7.7.2013 the CM announced this amount for the betterment of the working of the RWAs. I would request to kindly go forward and send your estimate for sanction. Thereafter we can comment whether it is false or true. Accordingly we could clear our doubts and trust the statement of the CM.

Dear Sir/Madam,
1..We the residents of G BLOCK, HARI NAGAR AREA,JAIL ROAD are approaching you through our RWA for the URGENT clean up of our Residential area as mentioned above. The following population is immediately effected:-
(a) Hari Nagar G Block- Approx 20000 residents
(b) Virender Nagar- Approx- 37000 residents
(c) Shiv Nagar- Approx 50000 residents
2.The area measures approx 8000 sq yards and is located at the ENTRANCE to the above mentioned residential areas and adjacent to the JAIL ROAD, opposite Petrol Pump/Omsweets shop and also popularly known as Som Bazar Chowk area. The area is under private ownership and over a period of time has become cesspool of dirt, garbage, parked vehicles, break down vehicles, Generators, dead animals ,human litter and waste, unauthorized constructions, and is used by the unknown people. The area has become not only polluted by all the a/m things but is also a SECURITY RISK as there is NO lighting arrangements and bad elements are often seen around there. It is indeed very RISKY for our daughters ,women and even men to walk through this area at Night. The wastes are thrown by many occupants and the area STINKS all the time and it is getting difficult to LIVE in this area. Our past Councillors have often promised us for resolution of the a/m issue, but NOTHING has been done as yet..
3.You are requested to kindly use your good offices to prevail upon the owners of this land either to construct a wall all around their land or the GOVT should intervene and construct or can help them to SELL the land or ACQUIRE/PURCHASE the land for the public good.
4. We the residents are keen to see a small Park to be built up over here and this would be the boon for all the residents. We humbly pray to you for the immediate resolution of this long pending issue and bring happiness to the residents of these areas.
5.In support of our request we have the signatures of the residents of these areas appended.
Sincerely, & On behalf of All Residents of G BLOCK HARI NAGAR, VIRENDER NAGAR AND SHIV NAGAR

RWAs views on the announcement made by CM :
Dear Mr. Vohra ji,
We cannot but commend your consistent efforts on all fronts to look after the interest and welfare of all residents in East Delhi! Your mailing system of uptodate news and views and publicity and keeping in touch with all affiliates etc. are praiseworthy and admirable. Your indefatigable energy and unlimited and boundless enthusiasm in all matters are unexceptionable indeed! These are not mere hyperbole but true to the letter and spirit!!
We heartily welcome the munificence of our Hon'ble CM of extending financial assistance to the RWAs which could be very profitably utilized for the welfare and security of the residents without doubt. In fact our Society had taken various steps to ensure the security and safety of residents in the present of adverse atmosphere of insecurity, albeit the subject is more concerned with the Police authorities rather burdening the residents but when the former has no means and wherewithal for the purpose excepting providing the same to VVIPs etc. where 'aam aadmi' are left to fend for themselves, by providing gates and presently engaged in installing CCTVs (the craze of the season on the recommendation of the Police authorities) at all vulnerable points, despite their efficacy which is questionable. All this and more involve lot of expenditure which has to be met on eking out of the sum from all residents who abode in different colonies. This little sum will be of great help to minimize the expenditure to some extent. But this has to be channelized properly in a total transparent manner which is of very vital importance. You may kindly recall that similar announcement was made a few months back at a forum by the Hon'ble CM but nothing concrete has taken shape. We wish and hope that this will also vanish in thin air when the monsoon is in full swing and thus becomes an election stunt to lure the voters! Let's see how this august announcement takes shape and implemented without any strings attached. Pl. follow it up and let all know what procedure to be adopted to derive this benefit by the RWAs. This will be a great service from you in enlightening the RWAs as to how to proceed further and to whom to approach.
With best regards,
TK Balu/RBECHS/Anand Vihar

What’s new with Income Taxes and e-Filing this year
As an Individual you are required by law to file your Income Tax Returns, if your total income without allowing deductions (such as Section80C etc) exceeds the basic exemption limit.
There’s good news for you because for this assessment year(2013-14), the exemption limit has been increased.
- For Individuals below the age of 60 (both men and women),the exemption limit is Rs. 2 Lakh.
- For senior citizens above the age of 60, the exemption limit is Rs. 2.5 Lakh
- And finally, for super senior citizens (Individuals above the age of 80), the exemption limit is raised to Rs. 5 lakh
There’s some more good news for Senior Citizens because the eligible age for Senior Citizens has been reduced from 65 to 60 years for:

Changes in e-Filing this year onwards

- For getting refund via ECS (i.e. directly into your bank account), you have to specify an 11-digit number Bank Account Number. If you do not have an 11-digit bank account number, then you have to request your refund via cheque.
- You will have to file the ITR-2 in case of exempt income exceeding Rs. 5,000. Common examples of Exempt Income are PPF interest. Dividend earned from shares etc.
- Remember to claim Section 80TTA: Everyone should declare their Bank Interest Income and then claim this deduction.

- Declaration of Assets and Liabilities for Business people:If you earn Income from Business or Profession and your Total Income exceeds Rs. 25 Lakhs, you have to provide the details of all your personal and business Assets & Liabilities in Income Tax return itself. This is for people filling in ITR-3 and ITR-4 only.
- Foreign Income declaration: Income earned from foreign countries has to be declared in the ITR. This is in addition declaration of all
- foreign assets in your I-T Return.
