Dear Sir/Madam,
1..We the residents of G BLOCK, HARI NAGAR AREA,JAIL ROAD are approaching you through our RWA for the URGENT clean up of our Residential area as mentioned above. The following population is immediately effected:-
(a) Hari Nagar G Block- Approx 20000 residents
(b) Virender Nagar- Approx- 37000 residents
(c) Shiv Nagar- Approx 50000 residents
2.The area measures approx 8000 sq yards and is located at the ENTRANCE to the above mentioned residential areas and adjacent to the JAIL ROAD, opposite Petrol Pump/Omsweets shop and also popularly known as Som Bazar Chowk area. The area is under private ownership and over a period of time has become cesspool of dirt, garbage, parked vehicles, break down vehicles, Generators, dead animals ,human litter and waste, unauthorized constructions, and is used by the unknown people. The area has become not only polluted by all the a/m things but is also a SECURITY RISK as there is NO lighting arrangements and bad elements are often seen around there. It is indeed very RISKY for our daughters ,women and even men to walk through this area at Night. The wastes are thrown by many occupants and the area STINKS all the time and it is getting difficult to LIVE in this area. Our past Councillors have often promised us for resolution of the a/m issue, but NOTHING has been done as yet..
3.You are requested to kindly use your good offices to prevail upon the owners of this land either to construct a wall all around their land or the GOVT should intervene and construct or can help them to SELL the land or ACQUIRE/PURCHASE the land for the public good.
4. We the residents are keen to see a small Park to be built up over here and this would be the boon for all the residents. We humbly pray to you for the immediate resolution of this long pending issue and bring happiness to the residents of these areas.
5.In support of our request we have the signatures of the residents of these areas appended.
Sincerely, & On behalf of All Residents of G BLOCK HARI NAGAR, VIRENDER NAGAR AND SHIV NAGAR
President
Capt G C Sachdev
