Traffic jam on Mandir marg & no control on Red Light
The residents of Krishna nagar are facing heavy traffic jam on Mandir marg, F Block. Entering from Road no 57, there is a bottle neck at F Block. As a result, a jam can occur at any time of the day. Mr. Prem Raj Mehra, President, Krishna Nagar Welfare Society, has forwarded many letters in this regard at various Bhagidari meetings. But so far the TI & ACP Traffic have just given the assurances that it will be regulated soon.
The red light at Mandir marg & Road number 57 crossing is being controlled in a very poor way. The traffic while entering Road number 57, covers both the sides of the divider and those entering Mandir marg, face heavy difficulty. Hope TI & ACP Traffic will look into the serious problems being faced by the residents of the area.

Mr. R C Jain from Rohini
Dear Vohra Ji
It is nice to note that you have started a "BLOG" where residents of a co-operative group housing society can write suggestions and also, can highlight their grievances with local administration who don't bother to resolve the issues related to welfare of the residents. Reading about the BLOG in a recent issue of "The Hindustan Times", I thought of making some contributions as well as to seek replies to my certain queries but it has not been possible as in our society, an "ADMINISTRATOR" is appointed by RCS for the last nine (9) years. If you have any way for me to start making useful contributions to your BLOG without any authorization from the ADMINISTRATOR, please write about it. HOWEVER, I agree that my contributions can be pre-examined before getting them published.

Expired Gas Cyllinder's being supplied by Gas company's
Any medicine or food products if consumed after the expiry date, can be dangerous for the health. Similarly, if the gas cyllinder in your kitchen has an expiry date & if we use a cyllinder which had officially expired an year ago, don't you think that it can be dangerous for you.
To our surprise, when we tried to check various kitchens, in just 15 minutes we located TWO GAS Cyllinders with dates of B - 08 & D - 08. Means the first cyllinder was expired in June 2008 & the second cyllinder was expired in December 2008. But these are still being refilled by the gas company's & supplied to the consumers.

If a gas cyllinder as above, exploades, and any harm is suffered by the consumers, they won't be able to prove as the blasted cyllinder won't exhibit the expiry date & the Gas company can very easily say that it happened due to the negligence of the consumers.

Anand Vihar line opens for public today
NEW DELHI: Over 60,000 residents of east Delhi are expected to switch to Delhi Metro’s new Yamuna Bank-Anand Vihar stretch for their dailycommute from Thursday when the line will be thrown open to the public.
The stretch was flagged off by Union urban development minister Jaipal Reddy and chief minister Shiela Dikshit on Wednesday. This is the first Metro line to open this year. But from now on, a new Metro line will open every other month till September. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) managing director E Sreedharan said the Inderlok-Mundka stretch will open next month.
From 6 am on Thursday, alternate trains from Dwarka will head for Anand Vihar and Noida City Centre respectively. The Metro station at Yamuna Bank will serve as an important interchange between the two lines, which are an extension of the existing Line 3. The 6.25 km-long Anand Vihar-Yamuna Bank stretch runs fully elevated along Vikas Marg which has a traffic volume of over 1.5 lakh vehicles daily. It is expected to take a considerable load off traffic on the main road as it passes through densely-populated residential and commercial areas.
The line has five stops at Laxmi Nagar, Nirman Vihar, Preet Vihar, Karkardooma and Anand Vihar. All the stations will also double up as foot overbridges (FOB) which pedestrians can use to cross the road without entering the paid area of the station. The Metro will traverse the distance between Yamuna Bank and Anand Vihar in 11 minutes as against the travel time of about 45 minutes by road. Commuters will be able to park their vehicles at parking lots provided at Karkardooma, Anand Vihar and Yamuna Bank stations.
The Metro station at Anand Vihar is coming up in an integrated transport terminal which also houses an ISBT and a railway station. This stop is expected to be one of the busiest stations on the line as it will also cater to inter-state traffic from UP till this Metro line is extended by 2.3 km to enter Ghaziabad.
