#Delhi tagged again as the #MostPolluted city in the world. Thanks to the No Vehicular policy, burning mountains of Garbage, Traffic Jam & Encroachment all over. Delhi has done it again. CONGRATULATIONS!

#Delhi tagged again as the #MostPolluted city in the world. With just 30,000 deaths in Delhi NCR out of the 2.2 million in Southeast Asia, with a Risk factor of just 25% of all deaths due to Heart diseases, 24% of the Strokes & 29% of the Lung Cancer. Delhi has done it again. CONGRATULATIONS!

#Delhi tagged again as the #MostPolluted city in the world. Any takers of the CREDIT for this great achievement? Delhiites are generous, highest Taxpayers, highest contributors to the GDP, living in a Highly Polluted City with the highest rate of Deaths. What else we are looking for?

All the encroachments to go in two wks time. Sounds great. Can just hope that the pavements will be free for pedestrians and roads will be free for the traffic. Waiting eagerly to see the actual outcome.

It started with various Published RTIs, various awareness camps, various conferences, various media coverages, and the journey is still ON with no end visible anywhere. WHO says over 30,000 persons are killed every year just due to the pollution. UNICEF says that brains of our kids are shrinking due to the pollution. Chicago University says residents of Delhi & NCR are losing 6 to 9 years of their life due to pollution. But no constructive steps visible anywhere. We the residents have to come forward to raise our huge voice, otherwise, Delhi will soon be a thing of the past.  Who will vouch for the Most polluted, most congested, city that faces Traffic jams, encroachment, potholes, waterlogging, sanitation strikes and a whole lot of nightmares, at almost every corner?
