Plz upgrade websites of MCD, PWD, DDA etc.

Dear Shri Vohra ji,

 

I fully and totally endorse the views expressed over here. Moreover we have to ensure that the mails are opened and acted upon by the officials concerned as normally they are not tech-savy and/or do not have time to see the mails and respond. Not even an ack. is received. Our experience has been totally negative right from Lt.Gov./CM to Commissioner of Police, MCD, DDA etc. Numerous mails sent to them over a year back, we have not received even an ack. Of course, they get a lot of publicity on this account through advt. in newspapers.

 

Let's call from our friends who have been tech-savy whether their mails have been responded at all, even after reminders, and desired action taken. This will prove the worth of such attempts! We wonder when our officialdom etc. will 'wake-up to respond aam aadmi's grievances expressed through various means'! How long and to whom should we pray, except the ALMIGHTY to respond or at least ack. so that a symptom of action is seen! Is it asking too much?

Joint front MC First meet

Just a few thoughts for smooth functioning of joint front. Our Madhuvan DOCHBS LTD MC meets once a month. The agenda is circulated in advance and includes....Action taken report as item number one. The second item is any new item which has not been discussed earlier. Then besides other items, the last item is ...any other item with the permission of chair. All the proceedings are recorded in the meeting itself and before leaving, the members sign the minutes which serves as a minute book. To discuss on e mail, vohra ji..kindly advise us a dedicated e mail address so that we may update you through mail and we may not bring organisational matters on these posts.

Eye check up & donation camp

An Eye Checkup and Donation camp was organised by KRISHAN NAGAR RWA in association with SHARP SIGHT CENTRE & NGO DEKHO-RE. Camp was attended by 158 people for eye checkup and 46 people pledged the eyes for Donation. Dr Harshwardhan ( MLA ) & councillor of Shahdara Sh. Nirmal jain also attended the camp. Dr Harshwardhan gave the eye donation trophey to donors. Bhagwandass ji (president), Sandeep kapoor(Sect.),Mr virender Bansal(Treasure), Jugal arora, Alok Bali, Deepak Chadha, Murari Maheshwari,Yashpal chadha, giri ji, Manohar ji,mahaveer,kalpana jain, mangal singh, anil seth helped in the camp.

How can we prevent electrical accidents in our homes

Most of the times,cause of fire and devastation is electrical short circuits. The deaths due to electrocution are on the rise.Such unfortunate happenings can be prevented. We get electricity through over head or underground cable. The armor or steel flat strips wrapped inside insulation are to be connected to earthing system of our homes at meter board. Unfortunately this is not done.

Even in our homes, we do not bother whether switches are connected on phase or on neutral . Switches must be connected to phase. Miniature circuit breakers must be installed on each circuit. I will be writing on this safety aspect. 

Hope that we prevent loss of life or property by simple precautions.

Vohraji deserves a lot of acclaim, appreciation and a big pat for the wonderful work that he has been doing, single handed,  to bring East Delhi RWAs in the forefront of happenings in Delhi.  The RWA Bhagidari portal and the Joint Front were formally launched on the Independence Day 2010. Presence of representatives of so many RWAs on the occasion, in itself is an indicator that the Joint Front will be a great success story. 

 

On behalf of the Managing Committee of the Priyadarshini Vihar RWA, I congratulate the President designate, Shri B.S. Vohra, Senior Vice President, Shri K. K. Ghei,Senior Vice President, Shri Anil Bajpai and the other team members for the successful launchof the Joint Front.  The task is difficult, but jointly we can overcome any hurdles on our way.

Dear Vohra ji,

 

PAR EXCELLENCE!

I have gone through the directory pertaining to our Society. You had given what we had transmitted. Thanks. We wish every RWA gives similar information so that all the RWAs will become more knowledgeable! In case not available, we may obtain. Secondly, please check-up if all the RWAs have their mail ID. This will help us a lot in communication and interaction. In case they don't have this facility they can tie-up with one of their office-bearers, who have this facility and let you know. In this modern age we cannot any longer communicate through typed letters, post them etc. Let's be realistic.

 

I hope you had circulated the 'ten commandments' which I had already sent to you. We may get the comments and proceed ahead in our march to attain our objectives.

 

Let's first take as a challenge the 'water tariff' escalation which I had already sent to you. This should be brought to the notice of all RWAs, who may not be aware of its far reaching financial implications! We must take up this issue at the level of our Hon'ble CM and HE Lt.Governor. At the lower level, this won't receive attention, it deserves!

 

Can't bring out the RWAs directory and contact nos. of public services in 'print' form and make it a subsidized book, which may be availed of all RWAs. This will be handy for reference etc.

A new star has risen in east

Now our blog,on line directory and front are in place.The first few months will need plenty of coordinated efforts to get stationery like writing pads, visiting cards,formulation of constitution and to get front registered under society or association act.

Vohra ji has excellent team. The first meet must be called to discuss organizational issues. Since Aaj tak has covered function, we could approach them to obtain DVD and for this some nominal payment is to be made.
