RWAs Advisory to the General Public

RWAs ADVISORY TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC

In view of the recent cautionary messages from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and banker Uday Kotak regarding global uncertainties, East Delhi RWAs Joint Front urges citizens to remain calm, responsible, and united. Preparedness is important, but panic reactions can create unnecessary disruption.

• Prepare for uncertainties, but do not panic - Keep basic essentials at home and stay informed, but avoid fear-driven decisions that may create chaos.

• Conserve fuel, electricity, water, and essential resources - Responsible consumption today helps reduce pressure on supplies during uncertain times.

• Avoid hoarding groceries, medicines, or daily essentials - Buying beyond your needs can create artificial shortages and hurt other families.

• Prefer public transport/carpooling wherever possible - Reducing unnecessary fuel consumption helps conserve national resources and lowers household expenses.

• Reduce wastage and use resources responsibly - Avoid unnecessary spending, food wastage, and excessive consumption of essentials.

• Follow only verified information and ignore rumours - Rely on official government updates and credible news sources, not social media speculation.

• Support senior citizens, daily wage workers, and vulnerable families - Communities become stronger when we protect those who may be most affected during disruptions.

• Strengthen neighbourhood coordination - RWAs, local volunteers, and residents should stay connected to respond quickly to any emergency situation.

Our message to citizens is simple:

Prepare, don’t panic.

Conserve, don’t hoard.

Stand together, don’t speculate.

Strong communities create a stronger nation.

B S Vohra

President

East Delhi RWAs Joint Front
