This is how you do the projections? 264 + 73% +73% = 760? Strange & shocking. Your govt hiked the Fixed charges by 6 to 10 TIMES in just 4 years. Why don't you do the projection of Fixed charges for the next 6 to 8 years on the above basis and share the outcome?
Just let us know how much you pay to the DISCOMs for a 1kW connection with 50 units of consumption? If a consumer pays 128, the balance is paid by you to the DISCOMs out of the subsidy collected from hard earned money of the same set of people. In such a case how the power is cheaper in Delhi while DISCOMs get the full booty?
Strange n shocking. You have shown the projections from 1kW to 5kW only and only up to 400 units which are covered by your subsidy. Still, your projections clearly show that people are paying MORE over n above the 1kW of sanctioned load due to the hike of Fixed charges, while DISCOMs also get Rs 1700 cr as subsidy and you still say you have not hiked the power tariff in Delhi?
Why you have not shared the projections of power consumption of over 400 units with sanctioned load of over n above 5kW, 10kW, 15kW, 25kW, 50kW? This will surely give a clear picture of how much hike has been done by you in the Fixed charges.
In the last 4 years, you hiked the fixed charges by 6 to 10 times in Delhi. Now you have announced that Fixed charges will be reduced back to the normal. But whats about Rs 4709 crore collected by DISCOMs in the last 12 months? If it was not a deal or a gift to the DISCOMs, why don't you ask DISCOMs to refund the booty collected by them in 12 + 4 = 16 months till July, to the consumers immediately?
Truly the burden of subsidy has remained constant on the shoulders of the consumers as one part is paid by the consumers and the balance is paid by you as a subsidy, out of the hard earned money of the consumers, while DISCOMs get the total amount
Have you proceeded to the SC for the CAG audit of DISCOMs so that truth could come forward, Tariff could be slashed, the subsidy could be saved for relief to the consumers?
