The place is looking like a junk Yard & the same should be removed from there & sent to your junk yard ASAP.

I tried to call Mr. Mangal Singh at 931 266 7490, but he did not pick up the phone. You are requested to please let us know, who will be responsible for the same or forward the complaint to the concerned officer / department.

The same is in the case of cemented poles, which are also lying there from last 6 years at the T point.

Demand Rises, City Powerless, Delhi Consumes 4400MW, Discoms Blame Cuts On Overdrawal

Earlier this year, the state government promised Delhiites that this summer would be different as far as power situation is concerned. But as the mercury touched a new high on Monday, the promise of uninterrupted power supply was proving to be a hollow one.
On Monday power demand in the city reached nearly 4400MW, just shy of last year's highest demand of 4408MW that was reported in June. This led to long outages in most parts of the capital.

In east Delhi, residents of Mayur Vihar faced power cuts lasting up to five hours on Tuesday. ``The power went off around noon and came for just a half hour in the evening. We faced a harrowing time in scorching heat without any power. We didn't even get water supply in the evening,'' said Mrinalini Saini, a resident of Mayur Vihar Phase II. In the afternoon, parts of Patparganj, Preet Vihar and adjoining areas faced outages for over an hour.

Situation in south Delhi was equally bad, if not worse. In Lajpat Nagar, many residents faced sleepless night due to outages. ``First there was a two-hour power cut in the night. In the morning, we faced hour-long outage,'' saidManjit Singh.

Defence Colony residents complained of erratic power supply throughout the day. In CR Park, residents faced two to three-hour long power cuts till late evening. Romila Suri, a resident of R-block in New Rajinder Nagar said the situation was just worsening. ``On Monday, we had no electricity for almost four hours and then it went off at night again. Again on Tuesday when it is so hot, there was no supply in the afternoon,'' she said.

BSES AGREES THAT CONSUMERS PAY FOR UNMETERED ENERGY

BSES Yamuna Power Ltd and RWAS had an interactive sesssion. I have voice recorded total proceedings. Specific examples like Breakdowns for very long hours in Vishwas Nagar was given by way of showing and rebutting claims of Performance and hence asking for additional hike.

I submit that we must always ask for the records of deliberations of such inter active sesssions. I further submit that RWAS must even at this belated stage, file objections.
We have to gear up for ORAL SUBMISSIONS.

BSES INVITES MADHUVAN ..NIRMAN VIHAR NEW DELHI ON 20TH FEB 2010

To my knowledge, it is first time BSES is inviting MRWA , MADHUVAN NEW DELHI - 110092.
You are aware BSES has for hike of electricity charges from 20% onward. One argument is that all no current complaints are attended within three hours. That the break downs are attended within shortest possible time. Kindly furnish or bring any record which demolishes GOEBLE like truth( or gospel truth).

Form my personal knowledge i know duplicate supply is not restored from alternate source EVEN when failure extends beyond four hours. Under frequency relays operate because BSES has forgotten load management. If we remain asleep, rest assureof a hefty hike.

Dangerous feeder pillars and service pillars of BSES

The poor quality of FEEDER AND SERVICE PILLARS are legacy of erst while desu/dvb.
But BSES and NDPL are equally guilty and will be responsible of man slaughter if any person dies on account of this neglect.
The need is to provide earth leakage protecctive device on each out going 400 volt feeder as well as to replace or repair such pillars. An action plan needs to be in place for losing further time.
Further, i am shocked on casual attitude that when consumers bring such situations, they fail to act and thankfully acknowledg.
Immediately a press note could be issued to educate public and request their participation to list out above type of defetive feeder pillars.
Furhter, During six years when i was hony secretary of DOCHBS LTD MADHUVAN, not even as single meeting was organised by NODAL officer despite pointing out this in bhagidari meetings.
Kindly do something to correct this situation.

BSES BUSINESS MANAGERS, HQ, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES CELL DO NOT RESPOND TO GRIEVANCES OF CONSUMERS.

BSES BUSINESS MANAGERS, HQ, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES CELL DO NOT RESPOND TO GRIEVANCES OF CONSUMERS. AN EXAMPLE OF THIS IS REPRODUCED BELOW FOR INFORMATION TO ALL MEMBERS:

Due to short circuiting on a pole with very healvy load, fire broke out in July 2009 which could not be extinguished by Firemen, policemen, BSES employees. They all joined the residents for hours till the fire got extinguished on its own. This affected closeby power connections including mine. We started getting inflated bills for which repeated complaints were lodged. Parallel meters have been installed on two of the three meters but the problem was in the bus bar (distribution box) before meters. In November, there was short-circuiting in the domestic bus bar which resulted in no-current. The LEDs indicating Earth Leakage were on in two meters. This complaint was attended to and it was found that previously when bus bar was fitted, no thimbals were used and the loosely tied wires caused short-circuiting. After this the LEDs showing earth leakage also were found 'off'. This wrong wiring in the bus bar was the main reason of inflated bills for which Mr. Jha, Business Manager, at Maya Enclave, Mr. Kapoor, DGM and Mr. DP Singh at B-1 Janakpuri No Current Office were met and handed a detailed letter of my complaint narrating the reason of receiving the inflated bills. Today, it is Jan. 18 and this letter was personally delivered on Nov.18, 2009. No reply or action has been found till date. This is the state of affairs at BSES ground level which needs immediate rectification by DERC and Delhi Government.

Regulator to verify power discoms’ expense claims

Delhi’s private power distributors are in trouble again.

In what is being viewed as its most significant directive, the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) on Thursday ordered a physical verification of all the assets that private power companies claimed to have purchased in eight years to build a robust infrastructure and showed it as capital expenditure.

If the verification finds that discoms exaggerated their expenditure figures, the extra amount will be adjusted through altering the power tariff.

In other words, power tariff may get slashed substantially.

“Consumers have always complained discoms did not upgrade substations, transformers, etc, and breakdowns were increasing,” said DERC secretary A.K. Tewary. “Now we will know if discoms overstated the figures.”

As per the agreement, the discoms — North Delhi Power Limited and BSES Rajdhani and BSES Yamuna — get an assured 16 per cent return on their capital expenditure. This amount is usually realised through an increased power tariff, although the government may pick up the tab and offer subsidy without impacting tariff.

Together the discoms claimed to have put in place infrastructure worth Rs 6,000 crore.

DERC has appointed Hydera-bad-based Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) for the exercise. The ASCI will check purchase orders and actual delivery of each asset, entry of such assets in the register, installation on site, location and more.

“We are open to any scrutiny,” said a BSES spokesman. An NDPL spokesman refused to comment.
