Mere 800 recharge pits in Delhi ऊँट के मुंह में जीरा साबित होने वाले हैं.
In spite of the severe waterlogging every season, Delhi remains thirsty & even its lifeline, the river Yamuna goes dry.
Even the groundwater levels in many parts of our city have gone downwards and shockingly, even the DJB has to use bore water at some places to quench the thirst of Delhiites.
In such a situation, Mere 800 recharge pits in Delhi ऊँट के मुंह में जीरा साबित होने वाले हैं.
We require multiple pits / Rain Water Harvesting systems in every Park, Govt School, hospital, and office, to conserve the monsoon water to save Delhi.
Please connect with RWAs to join in this mission to save our city. Delhi Government has enough funds to spend on RWH & Water Bodies, to conserve precious water.
With Best Regards,
B S Vohra
President, East Delhi RWAs Joint Front
