It has been observed that the Real Time Ambient Air Quality data, being shown by DPCC, on its website has some Technical flaws. On the Diwali night, our Team was keeping an eye on the figures of Air Quality Index and the outcome at a specific time was very Shocking and as below:

It clearly shows, that out of the 18 stations, at least 12 critical points as above, were not showing any data, at a critical juncture, on the Diwali night, when Hon’ble SC had ordered a ban on the crackers, to analyse the impact of the ban on the levels of Pollution in Delhi.

DPCC must look into it very seriously & must take necessary steps to remove the technical problems if any, so that the clear figures could come out for making the serious policy decisions, in this most polluted city.

REMINDER TO THE RWAs OF DELHI: Delhi government had opened registration for rooftop solar power plants in June 2017

Under the scheme, 30 per cent central financial assistance will be given by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy(MNRE) on the cost of the solar photovoltaic plant.

New Delhi: The Delhi government's power department today (news dated 18th June 2017) said it has opened the registration process for installation of rooftop solar power plants in the city, as it aims to tap one GigaWatt of green energy by the year 2020.

"The registration process has been opened for residents of Delhi in the residential, institutional and social sector categories under the city government's solar policy of 2016 and Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission's (Net Metering for Renewable Energy) Regulations 2014," a senior official said.

Under the scheme, 30 percent central financial assistance will be given by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) on the cost of the solar photo voltaic plant.

The generation-based incentive (GBI) of Rs two per unit is also there for the residential category, the official said.

The Indraprastha Power Generation Company Ltd (IPGCL) has empanelled vendors for solar photo-voltaic installations.

Earlier this month, Lt Governor Anil Baijal had directed the power department to prepare a standard operating procedure(SOP) and a roadmap for promoting installation of solar power panels in the city.

The Delhi Solar Policy, which aims at the mass adoption of solar power in the city, was notified on September 27, 2016.

The highlights of the policy includes a generation-based incentive for three years.

Traffic jam at Jagat Puri Intersection in east Delhi

This is to inform you that traffic Light at the Jagat puri a Block intersection is frequently down resulting into in massive traffic Jam. Today also the traffic light was malfunctioning and this has resulted in massive traffic Jam at 7.52AM.  I had called the traffic helpline no 01125844444  from my mobile and they have promised the quick action but till 8.20am no traffic policemen were there so some youngster had taken the traffic duty and traffic was controlled to some extent. Will the Joint CP Traffic will look into this traffic light problem and make a permanent solution to this frequent problem at this intersection.
