Check with DDA OR MCD IF YOUR COLONY FILE IS AVAILABLE OR MISSING

Sir, For the last forty years, DOCHBS LTD MADHUVAN is fighting to get back 11bighas land which is a public road but now underoccupation of preetvihar and to be more presize, under UNIVERSAL PUBLIC SCHOOL PREET NAGAR NEW DELHI 110092.

Single member had pas, but sed order in 2009 that SDM PREET VIHAR must ensure that this road is restored to Madhuvan within one month. The case was closed in PGC with orders as above. But this order was not implemented by SDM and hence we had to approach chairman PGC.

During last hearing, DDA ADMITTED THAT THE ORIGINAL SIGNED LAY OUT PLANS OF MADHUVAN AND PREET VIHAR NEW DELHI 110092 ARE MISSING OR SHOULD I SAY NOT AVAILABLE.

So, brothers and sisters, check your colony file and layout plans are also MISSING IN DDA. We needed above plans to establish whether there is or was a public road behind house number 68 to 77. In a joint inspection during meeting of DDA DIRECTOR and MCD officers, my personal file of plot 78 was produced. This was had been under dealing for conversion of lease hold to free hold. Point was to check the original agreement of society with PRESIDENT OF INDIA FOR ALLOTMENT OF LAND TO MADHUVAN.

MCD IS CASH STRAPPED could we help

MCD IS lacking fund because officers and political masters are failing to collect legitimate taxes. A few xamples will not be out of place; More than 2600 mobile phone towers are ilegal and do not pay any money. Only 25% properties are under tax net and rest are enjoying property tax holiday.

SHOPS IN PREET VIHAR AND MADHUVAN have been divided illegally and thus do not pay any money to MCD. PARKING LOTS UNDER THE GAZE OF POLICE THANA PREET VIHAR IS USED TO PARK BUSES ETC where as this parking lot is meant for cars and two wheelers. List is long...life is short and public memory is shorter.

It is only bloggers or our joint front which try to wake them up from their slumber.

Sewage in Tap Water : NHRC notice to DJB

with thanks : Hindustan times : link above.

INDIA TODAY !

Dear Mr. Vohra ji,

INDIA TODAY! When you wake up struggle for water (the most essential commodity); electricity (the most erratic and sweat out); getting milk (yet an another essential commodity); cleaning of roads and storm water drains (overflowing with no sight of clearance by MCD); parking of cars and taking them out; rush up to school bus with your kids; catch the transport or get stranded on the road with your own car; lack of civility on the roads and other places, encroachment growing unabated in and around your house/colony; soaring prices of all commodities etc. etc. Is it worth living always struggling for all essential commodities with govt. in power but powerless to do anything. On the contrary the politicians are thriving on our account. There is no accountability or responsibility. Oblige your friends and get kudos and covered on the TV network and the media, whatever you do. Officialdom do not respond to your calls and letters! This is the trait of our politicians and our bureaucrats! Is there a way out? Let's debate about it!!!

KRISHNA NAGAR ON THE VERGE OF BECOMING LALITA PARK

KRISHNA NAGAR ON THE VERGE OF BECOMING LALITA PARK

With painful memories of the horrendous building collapse incident at Lalita Park still fresh in the minds of the residents, there are chances that same can happen in Krishna Nagar as well.

Due to huge water logging in this area, risk of weakening of base of buildings is quite high here. Above all, authorities are negligent towards this area where more than two lakh people reside. According to many residents, water has entered the ground floor of their houses and is ruining their walls and pillars. "Krishna Nagar is a posh colony, but in monsoons, it becomes a terrible place to live in. Water floods the roads and we are forced to wade through the knee-deep water. We have brought this issue in front of the local authorities and the engineers of the MCD many a time. We want the authorities to act urgently so that the situation in the area eases," said BS Vohra, president, East Delhi RWA Joint Front.

Besides this, chances of outbreak of many dreadful diseases are also high which can worsen the situation. The frequent traffic jams in the area have added to the problem. "Shoppers in large number throng Krishna Nagar market from all across the city. The knee-deep water here results in long frequent traffic jams which trouble everyone. Moreover, the roads have also got worn out resulting in a loss of huge amount of money spent on these roads," said Rashmi Kataria, a resident of Krishna Nagar.

An MCD engineer on the condition of anonymity revealed that the poor drainage system here has led to this situation. The water is drained out through only one pump house which is at E block.

Many people are scared that Lalitha Park like incident can happen here due to the water logging.

what authorities say
We have taken a lot of measures to ease the situation and the residents are quite satisfied with our efforts. But still, there are some problems which will be solved soon.
— Dr Harshvardhan,
MLA, Krishna Nagar

The treatment work is going on. There are nallahs being dug for the drainage system. Once the nallah construction work is done, 90% of the work will be done and things will get fine as drainage system will improve. It will take a month's time.
— Dr VK Monga,
Chairman, MCD's public health committee

A total of 26 cases of malaria have been reported from East Delhi in July and with water logging in many areas like Krishna Nagar, the toll may rise further.
— Dr Ajay Lekhi,
President, IMA, East Delhi branch

Since Krishna Nagar is a low lying area, nothing can be done for the improvement of the drainage system. As such, there is no proposal from the higher authorities to solve the drainage problem.
— S D Tomar,
executive engineer, MCD (maintenance)

We have brought this issue in front of the local authorities and the engineers of the MCD many a time. We want the authorities to act urgently so that the situation in the area eases.

President, East Delhi RWA Joint Front

A protest against BSES tariff hike was carried on July 12 at BSES office in F block, Krishna Nagar. A number of RWAs and traders from various parts of east Delhi participated in the protest. It was supported by the BJP.  MLA Dr Harshvardhan, councillors Dr V K Monga, Neema Bhagat and Nirmal Jain addressed the public.
Dr Harshvardhan informed that the technical and commercial losses of Discoms have come down from 57% maximum to around 14 - 20%. Dr Monga said that the deposits made to BSES will not be a security deposit but permanent fixed deposits in their hands. BS Vohra, president East Delhi RWAs Joint Front raised various factual points on all the three issues i.e. tariff revision, additional security deposit and variable charge collection plans of BSES. "We request the DERC to opt for the CAG audit so that the actual position of these Discoms could come into open," said Vohra.
