DSGMC condoles death of two Indian students belong to Karnataka and Punjab in Ukraine



Harmeet Singh Kalka, President and Jagdip Singh Kahlon, General Secretary, DSGMC condoled death of two Indian students belong to Karnataka and Punjab in the war-torn Ukraine .As reported one student died in bomb shelling in Kharkiv and another one died due to suffering from ischemic stroke.  They said that whatever is going on in Ukraine is very unfortunate. The people living there, are facing many ordeals such as hunger and shortage of medical amenities/medicines.  Somehow people are forced to live in bunkers to protect their lives.


Kalka and Kahlon informed that Bhog of Akhand Path of Sri Guru Granth Sahib was performed today at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib for the safe return of Indian students and others stranded in Ukraine and world peace and prayer was also performed for the well being of all.

 Kahlon said that amid adverse conditions, Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Warsaw, Poland providing langar to the war affected needy people following the footsteps shown by Guru Sahibs. People of all religions are taking shelter in this Gurdwara which is good example of integrity in diversity of  India.  He appealed to Indians living in the vicinity to come forward and help the distressed and stranded Indians in Ukraine.

On the occasion, S. Atma Singh Lubana, Vice President, S. Jaspreet Singh Karamsar, Chairman, Dharam Parchar Committee, S. Harjeet Singh Pappa, Member, S. Sukhbir Singh Kalra, Member, S. Gurdev Singh, Member, Ramandeep Singh Thapar, Member, S. Ranjit Singh, Head Granthi, Gurdwara Bangla Sahib and staff of DSGMC and Sangat in large number were present.
