Election Manifesto must mention a Solution to Pollution in a Time bound manner, else face a boycott of your candidates

4th November 2019

Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Mr. Manish Sisodia,
Dr. Harshvardhan, Mr. Vijay Goel, Mr. Manoj Tiwari,
Mr. Subhash Chopra, Mr. Ajay Makan, Mr. Arvinder Singh Lovely,

Subject: Your Election Manifesto must mention a Solution to the Pollution in a Time-bound manner, else face a boycott of your candidates in the Delhi Assembly Elections 2020.

Dear Sir,

The SUNDAY, that we just passed yesterday, was an absolute NIGHTMARE for the entire population of Delhi. While the smoke & smog was touching the earth, it was a MEDICAL EMERGENCY in the Air. It was truly a CAPITAL PUNISHMENT for the residents of Delhi for no-fault. It was HORRIBLE to breathe in that severely polluted Air, knowing it may lead to severe Lung infection, but had no option, as none of us can stop breathing, how faulty the Air may be.

We have faced such a similar situation in the earlier years also and we just want to know from you all that would you like our Delhi to be the Cancer Capital - Lung Cancer Capital of the world?

We are already the most polluted capital of the world & surrounded by the Top 5 most polluted cities. In such a situation the only hope of the residents lies with you as you are or will be in power in the coming days.

Enough is enough, Elections to the Delhi Assembly are around the corner now and we have a Clear cut demand from all of you: Your ELECTION MANIFESTO MUST MENTION A SOLUTION TO THE POLLUTION IN A TIME BOUND MANNER. No more Blame games. No more unnecessary talks. No more fooling of the masses. You still have two months to decide your course of action to check the Pollution.

We want a Clear Cut Solution to the Pollution in the City, in your Election Manifesto, in a time-bound manner - Be it Parali of Haryana & Punjab, Traffic jam issues, Congestion, Encroachment, Vehicular Emissions, Road Dust, Potholes, Waterlogging, Land-fill sites, Open Dhalavs in the Localities, or a check on the number of Vehicles & parking woes, etc., else we are going to boycott your candidates in the Delhi Assembly Elections to be held in January/ February 2020.

If you want to meet us to discuss the issues, please let us know & our delegation will be there, but please do not take it lightly anymore.

With best regards,
